ACTPRAS is a binational research initiative established with the full support of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), endorsed by the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). We form the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery arm of the Clinical Trials Network of Australia and New Zealand (CTANZ), an initiative of RACS.

We support high impact clinical trials research by harnessing local, regional and international networks of clinicians, researchers and trainees to generate meaningful data to solve real-world unmet clinical needs within Plastic, Reconstructive (including Hand Surgery) and Aesthetic Surgery. We have linkages with partner organisations in other countries including the UK, Europe and North America to help data collection snowball from relevant clinical questions.
